Previous Westview Bowling Center Transforms Into Auto Body Evolution – Full-Service Auto Repair Center
Catonsville Native Brings New Jobs and Community Services to Local Area
Auto Body Evolution has opened its fourth location to serve area drivers with full auto collision repair, adding the newly-renovated Catonsville shop to the list. The body shop was transformed from what was previously known as Westview Bowling Center, with the space set to employ approximately 50 people at full capacity. Currently, there are 11.
“This was a huge undertaking, to say the least,” said Dennie Huff, Owner, and Founder of Auto Body Evolution. “But my team and I saw the opportunity to provide this source of employment and auto repair service to the Catonsville community that I grew up in, and my family still resides—so it was an easy decision for us.”
The property boasts 49 service stations (compared to Auto Body Evolution’s now second-largest location, Camden Body of Towson’s 25 stations); state-of-the-art equipment; climate-controlled estimator bays; and a maximum efficiency workflow layout, creating a one-stop-shop experience. Unlike many other auto repair centers, incoming vehicles never leave this shop from their initial inspection to detail.
Huff added, “Maryland has the second-longest commutes in the nation, leading to also having the highest rates of auto accidents. We’re here to get our community’s drivers safely back on the roads when this reputation gets the best of us, in vehicles repaired by people they trust.”
Huff has been in the auto repair industry for 23 years, and in Catonsville for nearly his whole life. He attended Catonsville Highschool, the Western School of Technology in Catonsville for Automotive Technology, HACC, and York College before starting Auto Body Evolution.
This new location offers Enterprise rentals on-site and I-CAR Gold certified technicians. It joins the group of previously-established locations: Camden Body of Towson, Auto Body Evolution of Essex, and Auto Body Evolution of York Road (Richard’s Body Shop).
